Our Hero
“Kindness for Every Mind” was founded by 9-year-old Jordyn Yuchno after learning firsthand that everyone’s mind works in its own special way. Inspired by her little brother who has autism, Jordyn’s mission is to help kids understand that kindness and inclusion make everyone feel welcome, because being kind isn’t hard, it just takes heart.
Our Story
Kindness for Every Mind began with the simple idea that understanding differences starts with a little bit of kindness. When Jordyn’s younger brother was diagnosed with autism, she realized that not everyone knew how to include kids who act, look or think differently. Through her school talks, pageant platform, and children’s book, Jordyn started teaching others how to be kind and inclusive and that grew into a movement.
